VRTY’s goal is to enhance the learning experience in the classroom through VR and interactive 360º content by bringing curriculum and learning areas to life. Additionally, we want to put the power of content creation and authorship into the hands of students. VRTY has been part of a few research programs with Dr Erica Southgate from the University of Newcastle to discover using VR as a tool to help with learning.
There’s no need to code because the platform provides its own easy-to-use tools to let their imagination run free, enact design thinking, problem-solve, prototype and create and share feedback with others.
Once your virtual school tour has been created, you can subscribe to a VRTY educational license and take over the ongoing management and creation.
Potential opportunities include:
- Amending the original school tour to create more virtual tours focussing on specific areas, such as your camp program, specific school years, sports programs, or STEM programs; or
- Creating orientation projects for new students and intake years, with students sharing their experiences with the new students.
VRTY would be happy to work with and mentor your students to further develop projects, which they will create and produce, using the VRTY platform.
